Luke Wilson Movie Fans

Luke Wilson had a run-in with the Russian mob while filming for an episode of Entourage back in 2004. The crew were watching a boxing match. Wilson recalls that they had excellent seats in the 2nd row. However, in front of them were huge guys who stood on their seats the entire time–apparently members of the Russian mafia. People in the audience were throwing things at them, such as popcorn, beer, and so on, and these objects repeatedly hit the Entourage crew as they flew toward the front row!

So, Wilson became more and more irritated and finally tapped one of the guy’s shoulders and said, “You need to sit down.” So, as the story goes, the guy said something about Wilson’s mother, and Wilson said something about the guy’s grandmother. Then suddenly, a guy who seemed to be the leader, and who looked about 70 years old, slapped Wilson in the face!

Then there was a tussle, and security took Luke Wilson out! That night they still had to film scenes for Entourage, so Mark Wahlberg (the producer) said, “I heard you got slapped by some guy.” And Luke said basically that he moved his head in time so the guy just managed to graze his chin. Hm–what a shame for such a handsome face to get sucker slapped like that:(
