BUT, the story goes on. Luke claims (in an interview with British magazine Empire) that the two began drinking at four. Then they went to one bar after another and continued getting more and more smashed throughout the night.

You will LOVE this.

Wilson says, “It was one of the nights where we started drinking at four and went on Willie’s bus and then to a bar, then another, then another. “I made that classic mistake of thinking, ‘I’m already drunk, why not get smashed?’

“Apparently I had my hands on a pregnant woman’s stomach, feeling her child and telling her how beautiful she was.”

This is one of the funniest drunk stories ever! I can’t believe he actually shared this. But I’m so happy he did. I’m still laughing.

Luke says, “I called it the Jimmy Connors – he was the old tennis player who used to slap his thigh really hard. So he (Whaley) and I started doing that. It would be Monday morning at 6:30 and we’d have to do the thigh slapping and we’d do it to each other as hard as we could and then you’d look over and there’s Kate Beckinsale, this kind of refined British actress, and she’s got these guys slapping each others’ thighs. You wound up looking crazy.”

I so wish I could have seen this. I guess this is what happens when Luke Wilson stars in non-comedic films!

Luke Wilson was freaking out about doing a nude scene in My Super Ex-Girlfriend. The director let him get a butt double. He was really relieved due to being somewhat out of shape while filming the movie.

Wilson says, “I had a great year emotionally, but physically it was kind of a tough year. I thought it might be a good time to sit on the bench for that scene and let some other kind of more athletic guy take over there. What they do, and I know this sounds kind of strange, is they give you Polaroids of guy’s backsides. They have guys come in and then they give you the Polaroids and have you pick one out.

“I found myself just kind of pouring over them saying, ‘I like that one, but it doesn’t have quite the pizzazz I want for this scene.’ Or, ‘This one’s good, but it’s too muscular.’ I’ve got a little hail damage back there. As you get a little older, you tend to kind of get little dents and indentations. You want to kind of act cool about it when you eventually say, ‘I like this guy’s ***…’”
