Luke Wilson’s costars have included big Hollywood talents. It isn’t surprising that at least a few of these superstars also became romantically involved with Wilson, and are reportedly friends with him even years later.
- Gwyneth Paltrow: Wilson starred with Paltrow, who was his girlfriend at the time, in The Royal Tenenbaums. (Luke made this movie shortly before Rushmore. Both The Royal Tenenbaum film and the Rushmore movie are highly recommended and available for purchase—see the links to the right.)
- Reese Witherspoon: Wilson and Witherspoon did not date, but they made excellent costars together in Legally Blond. (The Legally Blonde DVD is a popular purchase even now—it’s a classic.)
- Drew Barrymore: Barrymore gave Wilson’s career a big boost just by dating him. They starred in Home Fries together while they dated, and they are said to remain close friends even currently. (Despite the well-known leading lady, this film never achieved the fame of Legally Blonde 1, however it got great reviews!)
- Eva Mendez: Mendez starred with Luke Wilson in the Wendell Baker Story, and they have great on screen chemistry. Mendez played Doreen, Wendell Baker’s beautiful, loving, and perhaps too forgiving girlfriend.
- Maya Rudolph: The beautiful and comical former Saturday Night Live sensation plays Wilson’s love interest, Rita, in the Idiocracy movie from 2006. This pair was simply laugh out loud funny together.
- Kate Beckingsale: This starlet and Luke Wilson starred together as husband and wife in the movie Vacancy. Thrillers are a rare genre for Wilson, but the Vacancy DVD is a good choice if you want to watch a suspenseful film.
