  • Comedy: Wilson’s biggest asset as an actor, along with his good looks, is his humor. He has starred with Will Ferrell in several movies (including a role in the Wake Up Ron Burgundy). One of Wilson’s most notable films is the one he made with Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, and other hilarious cast members in Old School the Movie.
  • Debut: The debut film Luke made with his brother Owen, first the short version and then the Bottle Rocket movie full-length version, immediately earned the brothers recognition that would go on to fuel impressive and long-term acting and writing careers.
  • Recent: Luke Wilson’s career took more time to launch than his older brother Owen’s, but eventually Luke would catch up and earn his own comfortable spot in Hollywood movies. Most recently Luke has starred in Tenure, Henry Poole is Here, and Idiocracy the movie from 2006. These movies along with the Idiocracy soundtrack all showcased a different side of Luke’s acting ability—as well as his irresistible sense of humor.
  • Versatility: Wilson’s Vacancy DVD shows him in the rare thriller. This movie starred Wilson alongside Kate Beckinsale. These two reportedly did not enjoy acting together, nor did they get along. Nevertheless, this movie proved Wilson’s versatility. While he is the quintessential witty, comedic actor, his talent is not limited to comedy—Wilson can carry a broad range of roles.
